The new LSD and the Search for God EP, ‘Heaven Is a Place,’ is officially out 1/15/2016! To celebrate, check out a video for the new tune ‘(I Don’t Think That We Should) Take It Slow’:
LSD and the Search for God’s new EP, ‘Heaven Is a Place,’ is finally ready to be unleashed upon the masses on January 15, 2016, and you can pre-order a copy now!
We’ll have around 100 on sea blue, and the rest are on black. The band will also have 100 of the color for sale at shows in the new year. There will be a strict limit of ONE COLOR COPY PER PERSON – if you order more than one, your order will be cancelled. We want as many people as possible that want a color copy to be able to get one. Feel free to add a black copy or two if you like, though.
The band will also have a new track and video debuting soon, so keep your eyes peeled. If you’ve forgotten what they sound like (god forbid), here’s a refresher with the first track from the EP, called ‘Heaven’:
Orders will start shipping the FIRST WEEK OF 2016, as we’ll be closed the last two weeks of December, and we want to get the holiday mail rush over and done. Also, if you order anything else with an LSD EP, it will all ship together in January.
If you want to take a listen to anything before purchasing, it’s all up on our Bandcamp page:
As always, thanks for the support! If you have any questions, give us a shout at email@example.com.
We are stoked to finally share this beast with everyone! Digital is out now, and we should have CDs and cassettes soon. Take a listen!
That’s right! We’re excited to announce that the new LSD and the Search for God EP, “Heaven is a Place,” will be out this fall on Deep Space! More details are forthcoming but, in the meantime, here’s a short teaser to hold you over.
Well, well, well…after what seems like an “endless” process of writing and recording their debut album, The White Cascade is finally back and ready to share – check out “Endless,” the first single off their upcoming album of the same name. Noisy space-gaze-pop at its best – so strap on those headphones, you’re in for one trippy ride!
They’ll have a limited cassingle available at their upcoming show w/ Shana Falana on May 20th – and I’ll have some up in the store shortly thereafter if there are any left!
PS – the B-side remix is by none other than Preston Maddox of the Bloody Knives!
We’re in the process of updating the site and creating a new online store that is accessible right from the website! I’m still learning all this stuff, so some parts of the site might not yet be available. Hopefully it’ll be up and running like normal soon, so please excuse the mess while we’re at it!
Hey folks, another year down the tubes and this one without even ONE release from Deep Space. Well, we’re going to rectify that in 2015…already have some things in the works, and I’m excited to announce them in the coming weeks. In the meantime, I’ve FINALLY set up the label Bandcamp page! You can stream the Glissade and Tears Run Rings albums now – two releases that I think went really under the radar of folks. And you can even download the Glissade album if you like. Slowly working on the rest.
Thanks again for all the support in 2014 – stay tuned, we’re coming back with a vengeance!
Happy/sad to announce that the LSD and thew Search for God 12″ is now out of print from us! There’s still a few copies floating out and about with distributors and whatnot, but we have no plans to repress it. If we end up getting some back at some point, I’ll definitely put them back up in the store. Still no news on the full-length album, but we’ll post whatever info we get!
Howdy folks! Many apologies, as I have been neglecting our website…I vow to do a better job going forward. Now, on to the music!
The Fauns have a great new video out for the song “4am,” off their latest album “Lights.”
WATCH: The Fauns – 4am
And, as many of you have already seen, LSD and the Search for God have FINALLY released a new tune! It’s a track called “Heaven,” and it’s on an upcoming EP.
That’s it for now, but I hope to have some new release news really soon.
Oh, check out the online store if you haven’t in a while – I’ve added a bunch of new stuff, with more to come soon!
Happy New Year everyone! Here’s to a great 2014…I know we only put out one album last year – something we hope to at least DOUBLE this year!
While I don’t have any immediate release news to share, I can say I have heard some of the new White Cascade recordings and can honestly say it’s my favorite stuff they’ve done. They’re still in the final mixing stages, but I hope to have at least a new track up soon for everyone to zone out to.
SULK wrapped up an amazing tour with the Happy Mondays and went straight to work on their new album. Word is you may never hear the songs on “Graceless” performed live again. That would be a real shame, but at least you can own them on a nice, shiny, blue (or black) slab ‘o vinyl. It popped up on quite a few “Best Of” lists, so check it out if you haven’t yet – I guarantee a good time!
The Fauns new album “Lights” is now available from Invada – unfortunately I wasn’t able to get any for the distro, but I would highly recommend checking it out, as it is FANTASTIC. You can stream the full thing on Invada’s Bandcamp site now.
They’re also about to head out on the road across Europe with Alcest! Tour dates, starting on 1/17/2014, can be found on their Facebook page.
Word from the Tears Run Rings camp is that work has officially started on their new album! I heard a rough cut or two while I was in Portland in the fall, and really loved what I heard. I can’t wait to hear everything properly mixed. More details to come on this.
Moonbell have announced that their debut full-length “Afterlives” is coming out sometime early this year (I’ll post more info when I get it). They’ve been playing some shows out around San Francisco, so go see ’em!
That brings us to the one many of you have been asking about – the debut LSD and the Search for God album…well, I know it’s done and in the process of getting mastered. Seriously folks, I want to hear this thing as much as everyone else! Expect some news really soon – don’t know if we’ll be part of it, but rest assured that Randall and the Mind Expansion crew will do it right.
Other than that, I hope to have the distro restocked with some great new tunes…and I hope to give this site a makeover at some point, too.
Anyway, thanks for the support, and stay tuned!
